Ask a Grandmother

Sometimes everyone needs a Grandmother that they can sit and talk to. I not only had my birth grandmothers, but I also had other women in my life that I called Grandmother because they were always there for me when I needed to talk about something that I was feeling or thinking about. So ask away, and I will do my best to be the Grandmother everyone can use every now and then.

Hey everybody! My name is Silk Waters, and I am the author of Puka The Moose. Thanks for visiting my new Blog. I will be honest, I have never done a blog before. Don't get me wrong. I have written all of my life, but I have never put my hands to a keyboard for this type of format before. I'm not nervous about writing, but as a writer, I am concerned that I will just keep typing and not know when to stop! So, what I decided, was that this blog is not only for the readers of my book, but also for anyone who has had a need to sit on a porch swing and talk to a Grandmother. In my lifetime I not only had my family of origin grandmothers, but I also had other elders in my life that I considered to be my spiritual grandmothers. They were always kind and available when I need to talk about something, so this blog is a way of returning the favor. My email address is below, so send me your questions either about the book or about something that you may need an outside viewpoint on. I'd be happy to response. Happy reading and reaching out!
